All staff employed by PCADD meet or exceed state mandated requirements for training and background screens.
Direct Support Professionals employed with PCADD maintain current certifications in CPR and First Aid, and have training in abuse & neglect detection, reporting, and prevention; crisis intervention and prevention; HIPPA/confidentiality training; and Emergency Preparedness. All staff who administer medications are certified in Level I Medication Administration. Services are developed and actively supervised by Developmental Disability Professionals (DDPs). Some staff may receive additional training according to their position.
All PCADD staff undergo initial and annual criminal background screens and pre-employment drug test screens, and staff who provide transportation for persons served maintain a Chauffer’s license and have an annual driving record check.
Direct Support Professionals employed by PCADD have additional training provided through the Relias online learning program.
